This law allowed a Corporate Entity to be elected as Prime Minister of the Republic. Any Corporate misdeeds, since its passing, are usually (and easily) blamed on lower employees. The real effect, in the end, is that most everyone who isn’t wealthy enough to live on real soil, like Kosmoniq, has spent time in Refinement, just for doing what their employers demanded.
